Screen Grabs Anybody?

Here are some keyboard shortcuts to capture screenshots / screen grabs from Chrome OS, MAC OS, and Windows.

Chrome OS

When you need to grab screenshots of a website or your computer screen:  In Chrome Hold down the Ctrl + Switch window keys to capture a full screenshot. (For non-Chrome OS keyboards, press Ctrl + F5.)

MAC OS

CMD+Shift+F3 – captures the whole screen

CMD+Shift+F4 – lets you select an area.

The images are saved on the desktop.

Windows

In Windows – use the Print Screen button  – The print screen button may be labeled as “PrtScn,” “PrntScrn,” “Print Scr,” or something similar. On most keyboards, the button is usually found between F12 and Scroll Lock.


Open the document where you want to save the image.  To paste use (CTRL + V) to paste captured screen shots into a document.

Or you can use the snipping tool – WINDOWS KEY+Shift+S will open the tool
